Born in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, on August 24, 1950, Marcelina was a daughter of the late Julio and Francisca (Rodriguez) Batista. She was a home maker who devoted her time to her family. Marcelina is survived and will be deeply missed by her five children, Natividad Tiburcio and her husband Felix of the Dominican Republic, Joselina Tiburcio and her husband Crecencio of the Dominican Republic, Fideliana Tiburcio of Dracut, Jacquelyn Taveras and her husband Raul of Dracut, and Francisco Tiburcio of the Dominican Republic; as well as two brothers, one sister, fifteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on FRIDAY, October 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave, Dracut. Burial will take place at a later date in the Dominican Republic.
