Edith R. Ricard Obituary (1932 - 2011)

Ricard, 79, went home to be with her lord and Savior on Saturday December 17, 2011. Born in Concord, NH on August 19, 1932, Edith was the daughter of Roderique R. and Edith M. (Moore) Ricard. Edith was a very kind, caring and loving person, who loved life and nothing was more important to her than her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Edith was also a talented seamstress and enjoyed quilting, traveling, visiting the beach and singing. She was a member of the Lowell Assembly of God Church in Tewksbury where she enjoyed worshiping the Lord. There are many heavy hearts now that she is gone but her friends and family have peace knowing she is home with the Lord Jesus. The widow of the late Edgar A. Gagnon Sr. who died in 1980, Edith is survived and will be deeply missed by her 6 children, Edgar A. Gagnon Jr. of TX, Richard G. Gagnon and his wife Beverly of Westford, MA, Dolli Peacock and her husband Jack of TX, Daniel F. Gagnon and his wife Beth of Strafford, NH, Michael H. Gagnon of Auburn, NH and Edith R. Hernandez and her husband Don of TX, 13 precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jacqueline Frick, Michelle Bertrand, Dennis and Roderick Ricard and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She will now join her sisters, Gloria Duchesne, Luella Donnelly and Geraldine Horan who pre-deceased her. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m. at the Lowell Assembly of God Church in Tewksbury with a service to celebrate her life to follow at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT, MA.
