Christos J. Koutrobis Obituary (1948 - 2011)

Koutrobis, 63, died Monday November 7th at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in Lowell on July 2, 1948, Chris was the son of Maria (Debelis) whom he loved and cared for and the late George W. Koutrobis. During the Vietnam Era Christos served his country proudly as part of the US Army. He was a published poet and enjoyed photography. He was also an avid Patriots fan. Chris loved to travel, especially to Maui Hawaii. However, his greatest love was his family. For the past few years Chris dedicated his time and love to caring for his mother. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him will miss him deeply. Chris is survived and will be sadly missed by his daughter Chani Koutrobis and his son Tyler "Doc" Comish, and his granddaughter, Arya Mae Graham all of Texas. He is also survived by his sisters Cathy DeFabio and Ann Shanahan both of Dracut, his brother, William Koutrobis of Lowell, his former wife, Candice (Green), and his dear friend Jeannie Andrade, as well as many nieces and nephews.
