DRACUT--Susane (Pavao) O'Brien, age 70, passed away at her home in Dracut on October 1, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late William O'Brien.
Born in Fall River on December 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Dinarta D. and Gilda (Teixiera) Pavao. Susane earned her associate degree in Accounting at Mass-Lowell, and was the proud owner of Merrimack Valley Oil, with her late husband William.
In her free time, Susane enjoyed traveling and going on island cruises with her husband and friends. She was also a lover of all things Christmas, as it was also the day her family celebrated her birthday. But the joy of her life was the family she built with her husband William: eldest son Scott O'Brien and his wife Heather of Methuen, and their daughter Amber, and Christopher O'Brien of Dracut and his sons Cameron and Connor. She devoted her life to the interests and betterment of her children and grandchildren, finding happiness and pride in whatever passions and endeavors each of them chose to pursue.
She is also survived by her sister Belinda Pavao of Burlington; her sister-in-law, Lisa DePavao of Billerica, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Susane was the sister of the late Robert DePavao.
