SALEM—Donna L. Poublon, age 61, passed away at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH, on October 31, 2019, after a long battle with neurological conditions.
Born in Baltimore, MD, on April 24, 1958, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Rae S. (Spence) Poublon. Donna was a graduate of Salem High School class of 1976. She then went on to work for Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union in Lawrence, holding many positions throughout her career, retiring in 2014 after 35 years of service as a payroll administrator.
Donna was well known for her large Beanie Babie collection, and her love for quilting. She was a regular at “Bits and Pieces” craft store in Pelham, and was a member of both the Dracut and Pelham Senior Centers.
Surviving Donna are her four siblings, Patricia Isabelle and her husband Wayne of St. Petersburg, FL, Janice Koshar of Methuen, MA, Penny Poublon Harnisch of Haverhill, MA, and William “Billy” Poublon of RI, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, on Wednesday, November 6 from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Her Funeral Service will also take place in the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence .
