Debra (Loiselle) Ayotte

September 10, 1959 ~ August 8, 2019 (age 59)

LOWELL--Debra (Loiselle)  Ayotte, age 59, passed away on August 8, 2019 at Tufts Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the dear wife of Gerald Ayotte, with whom she would have celebrated 39 years of marriage in November.

Born in Lowell, MA on September 10, 1959, she was a daughter of Fatima M. (Sousa) Loiselle, and the late Robert J. Loiselle.  Following her high school education, Debra received a certificate in Medical Assisting, and worked as a phlebotomist for over 30 years.  She was passionate about her work, and loved helping anyone she could.

To all who knew her, Debra was a kind, caring, and compassionate woman.  She did everything in her power to make those around her happy, and was said to have a smile that could light up any room.  In her free time she loved to shop and go visit the White Mountains, especially Clark's Trading Post.  She was also an avid crafter, who would spend hours working on her projects, and miniature dollhouse models.

Besides her loving husband, Debra is survived by her two children, Delia Ayotte of Lowell, and Robert Ayotte and his girlfriend Brittany Alcorn of Lowell; her sister, Cheryl Mitchell of Oakland, ME; her mother-in-law Maureen (Handley) Ayotte, as well as many dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Debra was the sister of the late Robin Loiselle.

The Ayotte family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Tufts Medical Center for their kindness and determination throughout Debra's time in their care.
